Lead by example

Vanessa is a REALTOR^(R) and serves on several committees at the Atlanta Realtors Association.  She was the recipient of the Spalding White Leadership Development Award for outstanding leadership in 2017.

In March 2011, Vanessa earned the coveted Keller Williams W4C2TS culture award for her actions of leading by example.  Several years ago she launched "Operation Warm Hearts," initially a simple coat drive to help combat the below freezing temperatures that befell the homeless men and women in Atlanta.  "Our committment as real estate professionals is to help our clients buy and sell property.  At the very core, we are helping to transfer "shelter" from one person to another.  It's important that we never take for granted the basic essence of that as many are not so lucky."  With the cooperation and participation of the members of Keller Williams First Atlanta office and their clients, thousands of pieces (ranging from blankets and coats to handwarmers and sleeping bags) have been collected and re-distributed to those in need over the years.  Distribution was both direct and indirect through several local organizations that specialize in helping the homeless of Atlanta.  For more information on how you can help donate for the cause, contact Vanessa Westfall directly.
